Job Description: Sommelier in Dubai

We are a leading hospitality provider in Dubai and are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while selecting wines to complement their menu selections.

Job Requirements:
-Minimum 3 years experience as a sommelier in an upscale restaurant/hotel/bar is essential
-International certification or equivalent is preferred (e.g WSET Level 2)
-Excellent knowledge of wine varieties, regions, vintages, production techniques, food pairings and service standards is essential
-Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly personality and excellent communication skills is essential
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
-Responsible for selecting wines from our portfolio that best match customers’ menu selections
-Provide professional advice on food and wine pairings to customers
-Ensure that all wines are stored correctly according to temperature & humidity controls
-Maintain accurate records of inventory & stock levels -Liaise closely with chefs & kitchen staff on menu creation & food pairings -Ensure that all wines are served according to established standards -Deliver exceptional customer service at all times -Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations Salary: 900 AED per month
