Accountant vacancy in El-Fujairah UAE


We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team in El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, as well as proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage daily accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, expense tracking and payroll processing.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for management review.
• Monitor cash flow and develop strategies for improving cash flow.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead the annual financial audit process with external auditors.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities; analyze variance reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Prepare financial reports for the board of directors and other stakeholders as required.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not required.
• At least five years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance required; public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and IRS regulations; international accounting experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as ERP systems such as QuickBooks or SAP; advanced Excel skills are necessary.

The salary for this position is 1700 AED/month plus benefits package commensurate with experience including health insurance coverage for self only . We are willing to consider a foreigner for this position if they meet all requirements outlined above .
