Job Responsibilities

- Perform laboratory testing on samples to analyze the physical and chemical properties of substances
- Interpret test results based on established methods and standards
- Prepare reports on findings from laboratory tests
- Monitor laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Support other chemists in their research activities and tasks

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required; Master’s degree is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Chemist or Laboratory Technician is desired but not required - Knowledge of chemistry principles, theories, techniques, standards, etc. - Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good communication skills both verbal and written
