Cashier - Umm-al-Qaiwain

We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, an understanding of basic accounting principles, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. We are willing to consider a foreigner for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers when they enter the store
• Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash, checks, and credit/debit card transactions; issuing change, refunds, and receipts
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct
• Answer customers’ questions regarding store policies or their orders
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area
• Balance cash drawers by counting cash at the end of the shift
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Reconcile daily sales and prepare deposits to bank accounts

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred
• Proven experience as a cashier or similar role
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent knowledge of customer service principles
• Good organizational skills with an ability to work efficiently under pressure

Salary: 1400 AED/Month
