Optometrist Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The right candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the field and will need to be able to work independently and with a team. We are offering a competitive salary of 1600 AED per month and will consider an immigrant for the position.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient's eyes using observation, instruments, and other testing procedures to diagnose vision problems
• Determine the correct prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses
• Provide recommendations on the best types of lenses or frames for the patient's needs
• Explain the potential risks, benefits, and alternatives associated with various treatments
• Monitor and document patient progress over time
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other medical professionals when necessary
• Provide advice on how to maintain eye health

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
• 2+ years of experience as an Optometrist
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
