Dietitian Job in Al-Kuwait
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Nutrition, or equivalent qualification.
• At least three years of experience as a dietitian.
• Fluency in English, Arabic and any other major language is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and skills.
Job Description:
The Dietitian is responsible for providing nutritional advice to patients on diet-related matters, such as disease prevention and management, nutrition education, menu planning and food preparation. The Dietitian will assess the nutritional needs of patients based on their health condition and medical history, develop individualized meal plans that meet the patient's needs and recommend healthy lifestyle changes where necessary. The Dietitian will also provide counselling for patients on nutrition-related topics such as weight management, food allergies and intolerances, vitamins and minerals intake etc., as well as conduct research into new nutrition therapies. Additionally, the Dietitian will monitor progress towards the patient’s goals by evaluating laboratory results such as blood glucose levels or cholesterol levels etc., keeping accurate records of dietary advice provided to patients and attending meetings with doctors and other medical staff to discuss the progress of patients’ diets.
Salary: 1000 USD per month
