Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pharmacist to join our Doha-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services, including drug information, medication review and dispensing, and patient counseling. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100, and we are open to considering a foreign applicant.

The primary duties of the Pharmacist include:

• Dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions;
• Providing advice and answering questions from patients about their medications;
• Conducting medication reviews for patients;
• Ensuring that medications are safely stored and labeled correctly;
• Monitoring patient usage of medications and alerting healthcare providers to any potential issues;
• Advising patients on the proper use of over-the-counter drugs;
• Verifying insurance coverage;
• Ordering inventory and restocking shelves with new products as needed;
• Maintaining accurate records of all medications dispensed.

The ideal candidate should possess a Degree in Pharmacy or a related field, along with several years’ experience working in a pharmacy setting. They should have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have strong organizational skills, and be up-to-date with relevant pharmacy practices. The successful applicant must also be able to communicate effectively with both customers and healthcare professionals.
