Dental Assistant position available in Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting the dentist with patient care procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the dentist with dental treatments such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, and other restorative procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments prior to patient appointments.
• Sterilize all instruments after each use according to OSHA standards.
• Take and record dental impressions including X-rays.
• Provide chair side assistance during dental examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques as well as post-operative instructions.
• Keep up-to-date records of patient visits and procedures performed.
• Update patient information in patient files.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma is preferred but not required; must have at least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant or similar role
• Knowledge of standard dentistry operations, sterilization techniques, chairside assistance procedures, etc. is essential
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
