Job Duties:
• Diagnosing illnesses or conditions by interpreting images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound scans or mammograms
• Discussing results with other healthcare professionals such as surgeons or GPs
• Writing reports on findings and recommending further tests or treatments
• Supervising junior colleagues in diagnostic imaging techniques.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in radiology from a recognized university or college
• At least 2 years of working experience in the field of radiology • Knowledge of the latest medical imaging technology and best practices • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Proven track record of accuracy in diagnosis
