Position Title: Florist
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1000 QAR per month
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Florist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate is a creative individual with a passion for floral design and customer service. The role involves creating beautiful floral arrangements for weddings, corporate events, special occasions and private homes. You will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge of all types of flowers and foliage as well as the ability to accurately estimate costs for any given project. You must also be able to work efficiently under pressure and possess excellent communication skills. This position is open to both local and immigrant applicants with no experience required.
Responsibilities:
-Create beautiful floral displays for weddings, corporate events, special occasions and private homes
-Accurately estimate costs for any given project
-Suggest ideas for new floral designs based on client requests
-Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
-Keep up with industry trends by attending workshops or classes when available
-Provide excellent customer service at all times, answering questions or resolving issues promptly
Requirements:
-Minimum High School diploma or equivalent qualification
-Previous experience in a florist role preferred but not required
-Creative eye for design and detail
-Knowledge of flowers and foliage
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
