A surveyor is needed in Doha, Qatar. Salary is 900 QAR/month. We are open to consider foreign candidates.

We are looking for a skilled Surveyor who will be responsible for gathering data to create maps and plans of land, buildings and sites by using aerial photographs and satellite images as well as ground surveys. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all surveying tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Conducting field surveys by using survey instruments such as total station, GPS receiver and level instrument
• Collecting data on land features such as contours, elevations, slopes, soils, vegetation, water tables and other features
• Recording measurements of points, lines and areas on the ground
• Using software programs to process survey data
• Creating maps and plans based on survey results
• Analyzing survey results to produce reports
• Adhering to legal requirements when carrying out surveys

Requirements:
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Good knowledge of surveying technology including total station, GPS receiver and level instrument
• Working knowledge of software programs such as AutoCAD or GIS applications
