Executive Chef – 1700 USD - Doha

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment.
• Extensive knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety practices, nutrition and dietetics.
• Proficient in culinary trends, modern kitchen equipment operations, recipe development and menu engineering principles.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Adequate knowledge of food presentation techniques.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:
• Plan menus based on market availability, nutritional value or artistic appeal while keeping costs low.
• Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner according to recipes at the highest quality standards as possible while maintaining profitability goals. • Ensure that all dishes served meet quality standards by tasting them before they leave the kitchen and making necessary adjustments if needed. • Manage staff performance including recruitment, training & development, appraisals etc.. • Monitor stock levels & orders supplies as needed while maintaining an accurate inventory system • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the restaurant while complying with local health department regulations • Create attractive plate presentations following established standards • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area at all times
