Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Electrician to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems. This position requires knowledge of electrical equipment, including wiring, transformers, circuit breakers, etc. The successful candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and other electrical components.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
• Assemble, install, test, repair and inspect electrical or electronic wiring; equipment; fixtures; apparatus; and components of industrial machinery or equipment.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components according to specifications using hand tools or soldering iron.
• Test continuity of circuits using test instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters etc., to ensure compatibility with safety codes.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment in buildings/structures/vehicles/airplanes/ships etc.
• Repair faulty equipment after identifying problems by using testing devices such as oscilloscope etc., following wiring diagrams/blueprints/schematics instructions from manufacturers’ manuals etc.
• Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments by using hand tools precision measuring instruments etc., following instructions from manufacturers' manuals etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; specialized technical studies preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience as an Electrician in a related field preferred; we are ready to consider an immigrant with minimal work experience
• Ability to read technical documents such as schematics & blueprints is essential
• Working knowledge of various types of Electrical Equipment & Machinery essential
• Ability to work independently & without supervision essential
