Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with a keen eye for detail to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing design services for large-scale civil engineering projects. This includes planning and designing residential or commercial buildings, bridges, roads, highways, dams, airports, canals, power plants and other large-scale infrastructure projects. Additionally, the engineer should also be able to inspect the sites of these projects to ensure that they are compliant with safety regulations and codes of practice. The successful candidate should also have a good understanding of relevant software such as Autodesk AutoCAD and other relevant programs such as Revit or 3D Studio Max.

Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university/college. A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred but not essential. The ideal applicant should also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities as well as excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Relevant work experience is preferred but not required for this position; however, any experience with large-scale infrastructure projects is beneficial. Knowledge of relevant software packages such as AutoCAD will also be advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing design services for civil engineering projects including residential or commercial buildings, roads & highways among others. They should also have an understanding of relevant codes & regulations that apply to these projects; inspect sites during the construction phase; develop detailed plans & designs; collaborate with other engineers & colleagues on project teams; evaluate costs & recommend changes/improvements; test the performance of existing structures; order materials & equipment when needed; coordinate with contractors & vendors regarding project timelines & completion dates; provide technical support when needed & troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle; keep accurate records of all work completed along with any associated reports or documents; stay up to date with industry developments & trends related to civil engineering designs & methods; attend meetings with colleagues/clients as necessary and provide input when needed.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1700 AED per month plus benefits (medical insurance + vacation). We are ready to consider foreign applicants if they hold valid visa status in Khawr Fakkan.
