Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in optometry or its equivalent
• At least three years of experience as an optometrist
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Must be licensed to practice optometry in the United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities
• Examining patient’s eyesight, testing visual acuity, depth perception and color vision
• Diagnosing ocular diseases or conditions such as glaucoma or cataracts
• Prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses or other corrective devices
• Educating patients on eye health care and suggesting preventive measures
• Preparing reports on patient visits and communicating findings with other health care professionals
