Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring land areas and producing maps to display survey results. You should have an excellent eye for detail, good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. We offer a competitive salary of 1500 and are willing to consider an immigrant for this position. No experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing data from aerial photographs, satellite imagery, GIS systems or other sources;
• Visiting sites to take measurements with a variety of instruments such as total stations, theodolites, electronic distance meters and global positioning systems (GPS);
• Calculating angles and distances using trigonometry;
• Keeping detailed records of survey measurements;
• Using computer software packages such as Autocad to produce accurate plans;
• Investigating areas of land according to legal or technical requirements;
• Writing reports about survey results;
• Presenting data in graphical form using graphs or tables.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Good knowledge of mathematics, physics and geology;
• Ability to think logically and solve problems;
• Excellent observational skills;
• Good communication skills both written and verbal;
• Computer literacy with knowledge of relevant software packages such as Autocad;
• A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate should possess excellent organizational skills along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You should also display strong attention-to-detail while working with accuracy even under pressure. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of navigation tools, surveying equipment/instruments, GIS systems/techniques and Autocad software packages.
