Job Description:
We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The role offers a competitive salary of 1300 AED per month. We are open to considering applications from immigrants. Experience is not essential, as we will provide full training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain an organized library that is easily accessible to all users
• Assist patrons in finding materials and information as needed
• Ensure all library materials are properly catalogued and categorized
• Provide technical assistance with library equipment and services
• Develop, review, and update library policies and procedures
• Monitor library usage patterns and provide reports as needed
• Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with developments in the library field
• Manage the circulation desk, handling fines, returns, renewals, etc.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of modern library principles and practices including cataloguing systems • Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of online databases/cataloguing systems • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Fluency in English is essential; other languages are an advantage
