Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning and execution, staff management and training, food safety, sanitation and overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary excellence and be able to lead a diverse kitchen team in creating delicious cuisine.

Responsibilities:
• Plan menus according to budget and customer preferences
• Develop recipes using fresh ingredients, with an emphasis on local flavors
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the kitchen staff including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management
• Ensure that all food is prepared according to health codes and safety regulations
• Monitor food costs and budget to ensure profitability of the restaurant/kitchen
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout all stages of meal preparation

Requirements:
• 5+ years of culinary experience as an Executive Chef in a high volume environment
• Excellent understanding of food safety standards
• Highly developed organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Excellent knowledge of global cuisines with a focus on Middle Eastern cuisine

• Immigrant welcome; residency visa will be provided by employer

• Culinary or related degree preferred but not required
