Position: Sommelier (Dubai, UAE)

Salary: 1100 AED

We are looking for a talented and motivated Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a newcomer to gain valuable experience in a thriving hospitality industry.

Requirements:
• Must possess a passion for wine and have knowledge of the different varietals, appellations, and vintages
• Able to provide wine pairing advice and recommend wines to suit individual tastes
• Working knowledge of beer, spirits and cocktails is desirable
• Must have excellent customer service skills with an outgoing personality
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen or wait staff position is preferred but not essential

Job Description:
As Sommelier you will be responsible for providing customers with technical advice on wine selection while utilizing your expertise in food pairing. You will be expected to maintain high standards of presentation while providing an exceptional level of service. Other duties include stocking wine shelves, advising customers on potential purchases, updating inventory, ensuring all areas are kept clean and organized at all times. You will be working closely with the Restaurant Manager to coordinate pairing menus as well as helping to create promotional events.
