Librarian job in Sharjah UAE for foreigners


We are looking for a qualified and professional Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing library services to the public, including the acquisition, organization, and maintenance of library materials.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or equivalent, with some knowledge of computers and databases. Prior work experience is not necessary but preferred; however, we are open to considering foreign applicants who meet all other requirements.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop collections that meet the needs of library patrons and keep up with the latest trends in library services. They will also be responsible for organizing materials, cataloging books, and assisting patrons with research or reference questions. Additionally, they will be tasked with promoting the library by developing programs and activities that encourage patron use of the facility.
