The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out detailed surveys of land and property in order to collect data for architectural plans or engineering projects. This includes taking measurements of land features with electronic equipment, making calculations from the data collected, drawing maps from the data and creating precise reports on the findings. Qualifications that would be beneficial include experience working with surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations or transits; knowledge of legal regulations related to land surveying; and experience using computer software related to mapping or design.

We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate should have strong problem solving skills and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills, it is important that they can remain calm under pressure in order to complete tasks accurately within tight deadlines.
