Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data regarding land boundaries, features, and other physical characteristics. You will use specialized surveying instruments, such as total stations, transits, theodolites, and GPS receivers to measure angles and distances to create detailed maps of the land. You will also analyze aerial photography and satellite imagery to identify features of the land. As a Land Surveyor, you must have excellent problem-solving skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of all relevant surveying principles and techniques.

Responsibilities
• Conduct topographic surveys to determine precise measurements of geographical features
• Utilize total stations, transits, theodolites, and GPS receivers to measure angles and distances
• Analyze aerial photography and satellite imagery to identify features of the land
• Read blueprints and other plans to determine property boundaries
• Install markers or monuments at designated points for verification purposes
• Enter data into computer systems for further analysis
• Prepare detailed reports concerning survey results including boundaries descriptions
• Monitor changes in land use or elevation levels over time
• Follow safety precautions when operating surveying equipment

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying/Geomatics Engineering or related field preferred; however we are willing to consider an immigrant with no experience
• Proven experience with using survey equipment required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software required
• In-depth knowledge of surveying principles and techniques required
• Ability to read blueprints and other plans accurately required
• Excellent problem-solving skills required
