Android Developer Job – Al-Kuwait

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of the Android platform and experience with developing native applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, implementing beautiful user interfaces, and developing new features to enhance the mobile experience. Job Requirements:
• Proven working experience as an Android developer
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Good understanding of OOP design principles
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Responsibilities:
• Developing highly interactive mobile applications for the Android platform using Java/Kotlin programming language
• Writing clean code following best practices (OO Design patterns, SOLID principles)
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use • Optimizing application for maximum performance across a vast array of Android devices • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features • Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to application performance • Implementing security measures in order to protect against data leakage
