Librarian - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a growing team. We offer a competitive salary of 1400 per month, and we are willing to consider immigrants for this role.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in library management and operations
• Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English (Arabic preferred but not required)

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library’s resources and services. Duties include cataloging books, periodicals, reference materials, and other media; maintaining circulation control records; assisting patrons with information needs; preparing bibliographies; organizing book displays; providing reference assistance; developing library policies and procedures; supervising volunteers/student assistants working in the library. The librarian should also remain up-to-date on new technologies, trends, materials, equipment, etc., related to libraries.
