Job Responsibilities:
• Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians
• Provide information about drug interactions, side effects and dosages
• Provide advice about general health issues such as healthy diet, or managing stress
• Monitor patient drug therapies by reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and effectiveness
• Maintain patient records by recording medications administered or dispensed
• Comply with all legal regulations concerning the practice of pharmacy
• Ensure that all safety policies are followed when handling medications
