Optometrist Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including eye exams, vision tests, and prescribing corrective lenses. We offer a competitive salary of 1200 QAR per month and we are ready to consider immigrants for this position.

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience as an Optometrist and must be knowledgeable on all aspects of optometry care. He/she should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide excellent customer service and patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using specialized equipment to assess vision, diagnose eye diseases, and prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments
- Provide advice on general health issues related to eyesight such as nutrition, lifestyle habits, etc.
- Explain the results of the examination to patients and answer any questions they may have about their vision or treatment options
- Keep accurate records of patient examinations and treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary such as ophthalmologists or opticians
- Ensure compliance with local laws regarding the practice of optometry

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field
- At least two years of experience as an Optometrist required
- Knowledgeable on all aspects of optometry care
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
