Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Barista to join our team at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers in an efficient, friendly and welcoming manner.

In this role, you will be expected to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. You will also need to be knowledgeable about coffee drinks and other beverage options.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a barista in a similar environment, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude towards work. You should also have good written and verbal communication skills in English as well as the local language.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare beverages (espresso-based coffees, milkshakes, etc.) according to customer specifications.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions.
• Provide friendly customer service while interacting with customers.
• Practice proper cash handling procedures at all times.
• Clean the bar area before, during and after shifts.

Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred • Previous experience in a similar role such as barista or waiter/waitress • Knowledgeable about coffee drinks and other beverage options • Excellent customer service skills • Good written and verbal communication skills in English as well as the local language • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
