Optometrist Job – Jabal-Ali, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Jabal-Ali, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, including examining eyes, prescribing corrective lenses and detecting vision problems. We are offering a salary of 1800 AED per month and are willing to consider an immigrant for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Examine patients’ eyes to diagnose vision problems and eye diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses such as spectacles or contact lenses
• Provide advice on vision care and the use of contact lenses or spectacles
• Monitor changes in vision and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary
• Develop treatment plans based on patient needs
• Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding diagnosis and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and results of examinations
• Provide education on vision health topics such as nutrition and hygiene habits
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
• Licensed Optometrist in the UAE or eligible to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire date
• Must be able to speak English fluently; knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not required
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail
