Accountant – Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the preparation of all financial reports and statements including monthly account reconciliations, income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local laws, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Identify areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Investigate discrepancies between physical inventories and system figures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting role is required; experience working in a foreign country is preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential; proficiency in English is preferred but not necessary for this role as long as the language can be understood by all stakeholders involved with the company’s accounts.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment is essential for success in this role; excellent organizational skills are also important to ensure that deadlines are met on time every time.

Salary: 1200 AED/month (negotiable based on experience). We are open to considering foreign candidates if they meet the qualifications above and have relevant experience that can be transferable to Abu-Dhabi's working environment..
