Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to work in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years experience in the field. We offer a salary of 1100 per month and are open to considering applications from immigrants.

Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Land Surveyor is to survey land areas in order to determine boundaries, elevations, shapes, dimensions and contours. This includes using specialized surveying equipment such as electronic total stations, GPS receivers and laser scanners. Additionally the surveyor will be responsible for marking boundary lines on legal documents such as deeds, patents or maps. He/she must also prepare documents based on measurements taken, such as maps, land descriptions or plats.

Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role you should have:
• A degree in Surveying or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor
• Ability to interpret mapping data and field notes
• Knowledge of applicable laws regarding surveying
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good computer skills

Area of Expertise
The successful candidate should have expertise in the following areas: • Utilizing methods such as photogrammetry, remote sensing and GIS-based mapping software • Gathering information from blueprints or sketches • Establishing control points with GPS systems • Understanding basic mathematics principles related to area calculations
