Job Title: Optometrist
Location: Abu-Dhabi
Salary: 1700 AED

We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for examining eyes, diagnosing and treating vision problems and diseases, prescribing corrective lenses and providing patient education.

The successful candidate must have a degree in optometry and be registered with the relevant professional body. We are willing to consider applications from foreign nationals, as well as those living in the UAE.

Responsibilities:
• Examine patients’ eyes, using observation, instruments and pharmaceutical agents to diagnose diseases or abnormalities.
• Test patients’ vision acuity and depth perception.
• Prescribe corrective lenses or medications to treat eye diseases.
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and treatments.
• Provide guidance on lens selection, frames and other vision aids.
• Refer patients to other medical specialists as necessary.
• Keep accurate patient records of all examinations, treatments and prescriptions.

Requirements:
• Degree in optometry from an accredited college or university; must be registered with the relevant professional body (foreign nationals welcome).
• Knowledge of current optometric techniques, equipment and treatments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information in an understandable way for patients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary: 1700 AED
