Job Description:
Painter, Abu-Dhabi
We are looking to fill an experienced Painter position in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting and decorating residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should have experience in painting and decorating with a keen eye for detail, accuracy and quality. This position offers a competitive salary of 1800 plus benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparing surfaces for painting by filling cracks, holes, or other imperfections with putty, plaster or other materials
• Mixing colors, oils or thinning agents to get desired color shades
• Applying paint with brushes, spray guns or rollers according to the job requirements
• Assessing surfaces to determine the type of paint required
• Sanding surfaces to create a smooth finish prior to painting
• Painting ceilings, walls and woodwork according to specifications
• Following safety protocols when using ladders or scaffolding equipment
• Cleaning up after completing the job

Minimum Qualifications:
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a painter/decorator is preferred but not required • Ability to read technical drawings/specifications is an asset • Knowledge of various types of paints and color combinations is necessary • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment is essential • Excellent manual dexterity skills are required • Physically fit with good balance and coordination is important • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English is preferred
