Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all instrumentation used in the laboratory. This position requires a strong technical background and experience with various instruments and components. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving skills, knowledge of safety precautions, and be able to communicate effectively with other team members.
Responsibilities:
The Instrument Technician is responsible for identifying issues with instrumentation and providing corrective action. This includes troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation malfunctions and calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy. Other duties include performing preventative maintenance on equipment, conducting inspections of instruments, ensuring proper operation after repair or upgrade, documenting instrument maintenance activities, preparing reports of work performed, and handling customer inquiries in a timely manner. In addition to this, the Instrument Technician may be required to provide technical assistance when needed.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years' experience as an Instrument Technician or related field. Qualified applicants should possess strong technical skills with knowledge of various instruments including electrical/electronic components. A degree or certification in electronics is preferred but not required. In addition to this, applicants must have excellent problem solving skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
