Job Title: Chemist

We are looking for a qualified Chemist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and experiments to help us analyze, identify, and understand the chemical composition of various substances. This position offers a salary of 1000 and is open to immigrants.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct chemical experiments and analyses to identify, quantify, or otherwise characterize substances
• Develop test methods for identifying, quantifying, or otherwise analyzing organic and inorganic compounds
• Analyze organic and inorganic compounds using techniques such as gas chromatography, UV/VIS spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy, Karl Fischer titration, etc.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition and calibrate instruments according to standard procedures
• Record all data accurately in laboratory notebooks and enter into computer databases as needed
• Communicate results clearly by preparing detailed reports for management review
• Participate in safety meetings and seminars to stay current with safety regulations

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field required
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment preferred but not required
• Familiarity with a variety of testing technologies such as FTIR, GC/MS, HPLC/MS etc. preferred but not required
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to handling hazardous materials
