The Al-Kuwait restaurant is currently seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food and be able to work in a fast and dynamic environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. They will be expected to assist with menu planning, prep work, stocking supplies, as well as ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed. They will also help with the training and development of junior staff, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to handle their duties. Additionally, they must have the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members in order to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.

The successful applicant should have an understanding of basic cooking principles and techniques, as well as experience working in a professional kitchen environment. They should also be able to work independently and take initiative when needed. Some minimal experience is preferred but not required; we are open to considering applicants with no prior work experience in this field.
