Instrument Technician – Abu-Dhabi

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of instrumentation and control systems in industrial and commercial settings. The salary is 1200 per month, and we are willing to consider immigrants for this position.

Needs of the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician or in a related field, a valid UAE driving license, and strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, HART devices, VFDs, and other automation equipment is also desired.

Responsibilities:
• Installation of instrumentation devices such as electrical transmission instruments, valves, meters, flow computers etc.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair or replace components as needed.
• Calibrate instrumentation systems for accuracy.
• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed during installation/repair work.
• Prepare reports on work progress or other related data as required by supervisor or manager.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times in order to avoid accidents or other related hazards.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred but not required.
• 3+ years experience working as an Instrument Technician or related field is desired but not essential if the right candidate has adequate knowledge and experience with instrumentation systems such as PLCs, SCADA systems etc..
• Valid UAE driving license is required for this position.
• Ability to read schematics diagrams and drawings needed for troubleshooting purposes is essential.
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly under pressure is desirable.
