Carpenter – Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of carpentry, including ability to read and interpret blueprints and other drawings. The right individual will also have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall or other materials by operating power saws or hand tools.
• Assemble cut and shaped materials into structural form using glue, dowels or screws.
• Create forms for concrete construction projects according to drawing specifications.
• Cut out sections of the structure with a saw or chisel as needed.
• Install cabinets, doors, windows, trim or other products using a level and power tools as necessary.
• Inspect the job site for potential safety hazards prior to beginning work.
• Maintain accurate records of time spent on each job in order to accurately bill clients for services rendered.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as carpenter
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical equipment & hand tools (nail guns etc.)
• Knowledge of lumber & other material types & sizes
• Ability to read technical drawings & sketches
• Good mathematical skills & physical stamina

Salary: 1700 QAR per month (negotiable based on experience). We are ready to consider an immigrant for this role.
