Job Responsibilities:
• Preparing surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding and filling any holes or cracks before painting
• Identifying and mixing colors accurately according to specifications
• Selecting the appropriate type of paint and finishes for different surfaces
• Applying layers of paint or other finishes evenly with brushes, rollers or spray guns
• Removing old paint using scrapers and sandpaper as needed
• Ensuring that all safety standards are met during the painting process
Job Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Painter or similar role in the construction industry
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good knowledge of safety standards and precautions when using paint products
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent manual dexterity
