Position: Accountant
Location: Khawr Fakkan, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 1400 AED/month

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Khawr Fakkan, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of accounting principles and be able to work independently. We are willing to consider a foreign candidate for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports as required.
• Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
• Prepare journal entries accurately and timely.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable activities to ensure timely payments.
• Identify potential areas of cost savings or improvement in procedures and systems.
• Manage payroll process, ensure accuracy of calculations, deductions and withholdings.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and other financial planning activities as needed.
• Answer inquiries from internal departments or external entities regarding financial records or procedures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience required; experience in the UAE is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of UAE tax regulations is a plus but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience with other accounting software is a plus but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
