Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate should be well-versed in taking blood samples and other laboratory procedures. This role involves the collection of blood specimens, assisting in the quality control and laboratory tests, and the maintenance of laboratory instruments and supplies. The salary is 1200 per month. We are open to considering candidates from abroad.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to: properly handling and labeling specimen containers; collecting blood specimens from patients using venipuncture techniques; ensuring accuracy when labelling, transporting and disposing of specimens; conducting laboratory tests such as blood sugar, cholesterol, hemoglobin and other tests; maintaining accurate records of data; keeping track of supplies; maintaining a safe and clean work environment; following all safety protocols when handling equipment and specimens; assisting in research projects as needed.

Qualifications
A successful Phlebotomist should have: a degree or certification in medical technology or related field or equivalent experience; at least two years of experience performing phlebotomy procedures; knowledge of various types of laboratory tests, safety practices, infection control protocols, medical terminology and anatomy/physiology; excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients during the collection process; proficiency with computers for data entry purposes.
