Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners


We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. Our ideal candidate should have experience in a library setting and a commitment to customer service excellence.

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for cataloging, organizing, and providing access to library resources, as well as assisting patrons with information requests. The Librarian will also take on the responsibility of developing library events and programs, including lectures, book clubs, and author visits.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• At least 3 years of professional librarian experience
• Knowledge of library systems and technologies
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of library collections, services, and policies
• Ability to work independently without supervision or in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
