Job Title: Optometrist

We are currently looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, including performing eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses and contact lenses, diagnosing and treating vision problems, and providing patient education about vision care maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as an Optometrist in a clinical setting and must possess strong knowledge of optometry principles, techniques, systems, and equipment. He/She should also have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with patients. We are willing to consider immigrant candidates as well.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
• Diagnose vision abnormalities and ocular diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, retinal diseases, etc.
• Prescribe corrective lenses or contact lenses to correct vision abnormalities
• Provide patient education on proper use of prescribed medications and vision care maintenance
• Monitor changes in visual acuity or other symptoms affecting vision • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements:
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensing in Al-Kuwait as an Optometrist • At least 3 years of experience working as an optometrist in a clinical setting • Comprehensive knowledge of optometry principles, techniques, systems, and equipment • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly • High level of motivation with a commitment to quality patient care • Willingness to consider immigrants
