Job Summary

Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Waiter is to ensure that all customers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly and efficient experience. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, handling cash, and ensuring that the dining area is kept clean and tidy. Additionally, the Waiter must be knowledgeable of all menu items in order to answer any questions customers may have regarding ingredients or preparation methods. They should also be able to up-sell menu items when appropriate.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must have prior experience as a Waiter or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required for consideration. Furthermore, candidates must be friendly, professional, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
