Job Title: Optometrist

Salary: 1000QAR per month

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and assisting with vision-related issues.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive vision exams on patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry eye.
• Identify signs of additional medical ailments during the examination process.
• Prescribe corrective lenses including contacts and eyeglasses.
• Provide patient education on topics such as proper contact lens care and ocular safety precautions.
• Manage patient records, update charts, and maintain accurate documentation of visits.
• Manage ordering of contact lenses, eyeglasses, frames and other necessary supplies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in optometry or equivalent field required.
• Current license to practice optometry in Qatar required.
• Knowledge of current optometric practices and technology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients quickly required.
