Job Responsibilities:
The Fitter’s primary role is to provide maintenance and repair services on all mechanical equipment at our facility. This includes inspecting equipment and parts for wear and tear as well as carrying out repairs when necessary. The Fitter will also need to ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to in order to protect both staff and equipment. Other duties include keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, ordering spare parts from suppliers as needed, and providing advice on machine operation when required.

Job Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 5 years of experience as a Fitter or similar role in the industry. Applicants should also have knowledge of common machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders etc., as well as experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues with industrial machines. A valid driver’s license is also required for this role.
