Job Responsibilities
The Light Driver’s main responsibilities include:
- Operating light vehicles carefully and safely in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle while ensuring the safety of the cargo during transit.
- Keeping track of all deliveries, pickups, and other relevant documents.
- Maintaining accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, routes taken, etc. - Ensuring timely delivery of cargo to destinations by following the most efficient routes available. - Performing regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its safe operation at all times. - Responding promptly to any emergency situations that may arise during transit or delivery trips.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

- A valid light vehicle driver’s license for Qatar or international equivalent (if a foreigner). - At least two years of experience in driving light vehicles in Qatar or abroad. - Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Qatar as well as familiarity with local roads and navigation systems. - Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently without supervision. - Good communication skills with an aptitude for customer service tasks such as addressing customer feedbacks or complaints during delivery trips if needed.
