Position: Librarian
Location: Khawr Fakkan, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 1000AED per month

We are looking for a creative and responsible Librarian to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently. We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the library's collections and organizing them to promote efficiency and access. They will also ensure that the library remains a pleasant environment for patrons, and provide general assistance with library services.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain library collections, including books, magazines, periodicals, videos, DVDs, CDs etc.
- Cataloguing and classifying materials according to established standards
- Manage circulation of materials in accordance with established procedures
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to library use
- Providing guidance on using the library resources effectively
- Assisting patrons in locating materials or using computers or other technology
- Developing programs such as book clubs or reading programs for patrons of all ages
- Updating computer databases with new material information

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required
- Experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask
