Qualifications & Skills
At least 4+ years of professional experience working as a civil engineer in the Middle East region is required for this position. A degree in civil engineering or related field is essential. You must have extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and procedures as well as experience working with building codes, regulations and standards governing construction activities in Abu Dhabi or UAE. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential for this role as well as strong teamwork capabilities with good interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities
The main responsibility of this role will be managing construction projects from start to finish; overseeing design aspects, budgets maintenance deadlines etc. You will be responsible for developing bid documents; planning projects; estimating costs; preparing project specifications; obtaining permits; monitoring progress; responding to project requirements; coordinating with subcontractors; ensuring compliance with safety regulations; maintaining records of project progress; completing final inspections upon completion; resolving disputes between contractors or other parties involved in the project process. Ultimately you will be responsible for delivering high quality outcomes on time within budget parameters while ensuring all stakeholders remain satisfied throughout the process.
