To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates who have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
• At least two years of experience in a similar role;
• An understanding of engineering principles;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The main job responsibilities include:

• Designing mechanical systems or components from concept through production;
• Developing plans and specifications for mechanical systems or components;
• Carrying out detailed calculations to establish the strength or efficiency of designs;
• Using computer aided design software (CAD) to create drawings, schematics, or models;
• Testing prototypes or completed products for performance or reliability issues;
• Investigating breakdowns or other problems with existing machinery and equipment;
• Writing reports detailing the performance levels of machinery or equipment used in tests.
