We are currently looking for an Optometrist to join our team at a well-known hospital in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including performing eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision issues, prescribing corrective lenses and medications, referring patients to other specialists when necessary, and educating patients on preventative eye care.

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in optometry. He or she should be knowledgeable in all aspects of the field, including visual acuity tests, refraction tests, contact lens fittings, diagnosis of eye diseases and injuries, and the application of treatments such as vision therapy. The Optometrist should have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients as well as other members of the healthcare team. He or she should also have a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experience.

The Optometrist will be expected to perform comprehensive visual exams; diagnose ocular disease; prescribe glasses/contact lenses; counsel & educate patients on hygiene & vision health; refer patients to ophthalmologists if needed; maintain accurate patient records; ensure proper safety protocols are followed; keep pace with advancements in optometry technology/treatments by attending conferences/seminars and reading professional publications.

The successful candidate must possess a Doctoral degree in Optometry from an accredited university, along with a valid license from the Ministry of Health in UAE. We are ready to consider an immigrant who can provide proof of eligibility to work without a sponsor in the UAE. This position offers a competitive salary starting from 1200 AED per month plus other benefits as per company policies.
